Autumn#
It can be considered early autumn now, with the temperature dropping to 23 degrees. It felt a bit cold to go out in a short-sleeve shirt to pick up takeout in the morning, so I took out my hoodie when I got back. After rummaging through my closet, I found that I only had one jacket suitable for this temperature, and the pocket was already torn from last year. I hesitated for a while while browsing for clothes on JD, wondering about the quality, and suddenly remembered that I always have a sewing kit on hand. Well, sewing it up means I can still wear it.
I didn't go out at all during the entire summer break. As someone who can't stand the heat, my way of avoiding the summer feels like hibernation for a squirrel. Summer has become dull, merely a season of surviving on air conditioning. Before autumn arrives, I wish my future self enough energy to go outside and experience it; I've heard that the red leaves in Qixia are absolutely beautiful in autumn.
Procrastination and Electric Bike#
I bought an electric bike last November but kept procrastinating on registering it. Until last week during the Mid-Autumn Festival, I excitedly took various materials and rode twenty to thirty kilometers to the traffic police station to register "San Taizi." When entering the system, the QR code on the certificate kept showing invalid. After calling customer service, I learned that the certificate expired in August this year, and according to the latest national standards, "San Taizi" can no longer get a replacement certificate. A black market bike is just a black market bike; at worst, I'll just avoid the traffic police in the future. Of course, I can attribute this to my procrastination, but that's definitely not the root cause. This policy is indeed ridiculous; how can they not allow something to be on the road just because of a policy change less than a year after purchase? Do those incompetent officials ever consider the actual situation?
What I hate is that my back hurt for three days after I got back that day 😐; a guy in his twenties truly felt back pain for the first time.
Green Plants#
The green plants from JD Farm cost 0.01 yuan with free shipping. The one on the left is the first one I redeemed; I wanted it to get more sunlight on the balcony, but it didn't survive. The one on the right is the second one I redeemed, and I just placed it on the sink. I water it every day while washing up, and new leaves have grown 10 centimeters long, but the color of the moss doesn't look very good, and I'm not sure if it's alive.
Photos#
I admit I've been spending money recklessly. I found a Canon photo printer on Xianyu, and the prints come out a bit darker than on the screen, but it does have a different feel. Writing something on the back gives it a sense of ceremony. When I was a child, if I wanted photos, I had to go to a photo studio on the street to get them developed. I never tried it, but I imagine it was quite expensive.
